I live and work in Burlington, NC. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I moved to Colorado in 1978. For the next 40 years I worked in the electronics industry until retirement. Photography has been a passion most of my life. It was a way to record the natural world while hiking, climbing and camping. Woodturning came later. That craft was something I always wanted to try but never got into it until about 2005. The title of my website “light and shape” sums up the interplay of my interests in photography and woodturning. Hopefully you can enjoy looking at my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
